When he was born, he had a noticeable birthmark on his neck, and initially, I thought that was the “special” aspect. However, as he grew, it became clear that his special needs were what that voice in my head had been hinting at. This journey hasn’t just been about challenges; it’s brought immense growth and unexpected rewards. My son didn’t just bring special needs into my life; he brought a whole new perspective that led me to win a national award and start helping others on similar journeys.
